The NRF Foundation and Qurate Retail Group recently partnered together to shine a light on small businesses impacted by the economic challenges of COVID-19 through the Small Business Spotlight Initiative  which highlighted 20 small retailers nationwide (including Richmond’s own, Saxon Shoes) who have built extraordinary businesses while serving their communities.

With the help of the NRF Foundation, Qurate Retail Group is looking to expand on the success and reach of the Spotlight program and aid the fight against racial injustice. We believe the retail industry has an important role to play as a voice for change in the face of racism and injustice in our country.

The next wave of the Spotlight program will highlight 20 Black-owned small businesses with exceptional stories to showcase on their platforms over the course of this summer and fall. Companies can submit their expression of interest here.

Qurate Retail Group has offered to feature selected small businesses on the following on-air, digital, and social platforms:

  • Twice weekly 2-4-minute live segments, on QVC and HSN main channels

  • A podcast interview with each small business
  • Digital landing page profiling each small business on QVC.com and HSN.com
