The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Richmond Chapter held its annual Richmond Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, November 4th and this year’s Walk raised over $480,000 for Alzheimer’s care, support programs, and research, but is short of its goal of raising $544,000.

The Chapter is asking individuals to consider making additional donations, if possible. Donations will be accepted through the end of the year and the money raised allows the Chapter to assist local families living with Alzheimer’s by providing them with caregiver education programs, support groups, care consultations, and more. The funds also allow the Association to support research efforts at the national level.
