Dr. Nancy Bagranoff, UR’s Robins School of Business
Nancy began her career at General Electric Company, where she graduated from the Financial Management Training Program. She passed the CPA examination in the District of Columbia in 1981 (inactive) and has taught at several universities, including American University, Miami University, and Old Dominion University where she was Dean of the College of Business and Public Administration. She has co-authored several books and many articles in the area of accounting information systems, consulting, and information technology audit and control. Since 2010, Nancy has been the Dean and Professor of Accounting at the Robins School of Business, University of Richmond. She has earned degrees from Briarcliff College, The Ohio State University, Syracuse University, and The George Washington University.
Paige Mudd, Richmond Times-Dispatch
Paige is Executive Editor for the Richmond Times-Dispatch. She first came to the newspaper in 1999 as a summer intern, and then in 2000 as a local news reporter covering Chesterfield County schools. She also covered Richmond police and courts before becoming an editor, overseeing the Breaking News Desk in 2008. She became news editor in 2009 and senior editor in 2010. In 2015, she was promoted to her current position of Executive Editor. She is the first woman in the role in the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s 165-year history. Paige is a graduate of Syracuse University and native of Wilmington, Del.
Sherrie Armstrong, The Community Foundation
Sherrie currently serves as the President & CEO of The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia since July 2015. The Foundation holds nearly $700 million in assets with a staff of 25 and an impact focus on educational success, economic prosperity, health and wellness, and cultural vibrancy. Prior experience includes 26 years with United Way in multiple leadership positions. Her work included managing the relationships with top multi-national companies who raised $1B annually and produced nearly 11 million donors for the United Way network. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from West Virginia University.
