Love by the Glass: Virginia Wine Week

March 22–28

The first-ever statewide Wine Week, organized by the Virginia Wine Marketing Office, with support from the Virginia Tourism Corporation.

Local restaurants and retail wine shops can to sign up to participate. Just sign a commitment form to serve Virginia wines by the glass for Wine Week and complete the materials request form and get them back to the Virginia Wine Marketing Office. All trade partners that sign up to participate by March 12, 2010 will be promoted on the virginiawine.org website, “Where To Find Virginia Wines.” They will also be mentioned in all media releases about the event.

VTC has partnered with the Virginia Wine Marketing Office to offer point-of-sale materials to help trade partners promote their participation. It is our goal to have trade partners around the state embrace this promotion during this time.

The Virginia Wine Board Marketing Office will have available, while supplies last, promotional materials, that are free of cost and will be shipped to participating restaurants and stores in advance to help better sell Virginia wines during this event.
