Description: Perform a variety of teller paying and receiving functions for the deposit and loan customers. Maintain and monitor the appropriate level of cash in the vault and process cash shipments. Ensure that teller operations functions smoothly and bank policies, procedures and regulations are followed. Assist the Branch Manager in employee performance reviews, employee performance issues and branch work schedules. Develop new business and retain present customers by providing high standards of customer service, while alert to the needs of the customers to suggest additional services and products. Serve as the Team Leader for the teller department ensuring effective operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have 2-4 years teller experience in cash handling and processing customers deposit and loan transactions. At least 1-2 years experience in handling branch vault transactions and at least 6 months experience in the development of new business by cross selling bank products and services. Knowledgeable of banking regulations and procedures as related to the retail division. Ability to identify and resolve problems. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
