FOOD FOR THOUGHT by Linda Reynolds

This exhibit will be in the Centre Gallery, East.

Kate uses her art as a means to bring to life the objects and creatures that exist in her imagination as well as the emotions and feelings of an experience. She sketches these organic, abstract shapes first in pencil and allows them to grow, develop and evolve before transferring them to the canvas.  The exhibit will be in the Skylight Gallery.

SMG is Starting the NFL Season Right!

Richmond Virginia, are you ready for another action packed NFL season?

Well let’s start this NFL season off right by coming out and supporting the Washington Redskins during their training camp July 24th 2014 thru August 11th 2014.

During this action packed three week period, fans will get to experience a great family friendly environment, as First year Head Coach, Jay Gruden and the Washington Redskins prepare for the upcoming season in the grueling NFC East.Throughout the training camp fans will be granted free entry to all practice sessions and have the opportunity to watch your favorite Redskin players and coaches.

During Fan Appreciation day, August 2nd, where fans have the opportunity to interact with players like Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris and the newly acquired explosive Wide Receiver, DeSean Jackson. Also fans will be able to witness future Hall of Fame and three time Super Bowl Champion Quarterback, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots as they join the Redskins for exciting joint practices August 4th through August 6th.

With the undeniable success of last year’s training camp, the City of Richmond and the Washington Redskins look to make this year’s camp even bigger and better. With an estimated 165,000 fans attending last year over the three week period, SMG Richmond will be extending the opportunity to 10 businesses to partner up with us.

As the managers of the official parking facilities during the Washington Redskins training camp, SMG Richmond will add your businesses logo to the parking pass distributed at each of the SMG managed lots. This opportunity will be based on first come first served basis. All participants would have to provide some type of a discount opportunity when a parking pass is provided upon entry to your business. All 10 company logos will be featured on the back of the patrons parking pass.

The cost to participate is $200 for Retail Merchant’s member businesses and $250 for all non members.
