The Richmond Raiders professional indoor football team has signed three veteran players for the 2014 season.
Can you guess which players we are going to be seeing again on the field?
Wide receiver Herb Jones, defensive back Maurice Thorne, and wide receiver/kick returner Gerron Bryant will become the first players to claim their spot on the Raiders’ roster.
Herb Jones has been with the Raiders since their first 2010 season is the all-time leader in catches, yards, and touchdowns for the franchise.
Maurice Thorne will be suiting up again for his fifth season with the Raiders. He defended 8 passes in 2013 and was fifth in team tackles, even though he missed three games due to an injury.
Gerron “Scooby” Bryant broke out in 2013. “His explosiveness and athletic ability makes him dangerous with the ball in his hands,” says Tim Hurley, Business General Manager of the Raiders. He often electrifies the crowd and flips field positions.
Make sure to catch all of the action from these veteran players and so much more with 2014 season tickets on sale for only $35.
For the past two seasons, the Raiders have made it to the league’s championship game, and they have held the league’s best home record (13-1) over that whole span!
It’s looking like this is going to be a great season!
